SYDNEY COMMUTE: Trackworks on cityrail out west.. COP at train station thinks Im pretty, while Im hanging around near the turnstiles, scrolling through FB.. He siddles over to me smiling, asking to see my train ticket.. I show him (knowing that my concession card has expired, in Melbourne I can use a different card for travel concession - Im employed a lot by grant.funded projects, I LOVE concession, tax loops, discounts & bargains of any kind!!)... I show him anyway, knowing I may get a fine.. he smiled at me, moves closer and then asks me for an ID card.. actually he asks for PROOF OF AGE card, which usually people who have just turned 18 years have... That was a long while ago for me.. so I said, I have a License, I can show you that (I knew my Licence had also expired while I was interstate.. renewing it next week.. I said its expired... He said, it doesnt matter.. muttered an attempt at pronouncing my first name.. stood a.little closer & said Thank you... Smiling, flirting.. *yawn* boring.. I ignored anymore smiles & descended the staircase to my train to the city.. On a more enjoyable note: Freshly arrived Tongan young man on a crowded railbus, immediately moved to get up from his seat when he saw me standing next to him in the aisle, saying in Tongan to his female Tongan travelling partner, Im getting up so the lady can sit down, my older sister was behind me, so I shuffled up the aisle, he got up for her instead & she took his seat.. naturally.. I love well mannered strangers :) his mother and sisters have raised him well... I hope they know :) my brothers would do the same. Now, the commute homewards... Citybound.. on Sydney Cityrail... Ewww smiling, flirting Anglo cops... *shudders* vino please..
