Sa Hirap. . .Sa Ginhawa . . . Kami’y Magkakasama (PBB Equally Shared) Our battle cry in all our undertakings in DTI Baguio-Benguet Office . . . the past years have been challenging to all the members of our unit. The ever rising targets . . . unending client requests . . . evolving organizational concerns . . . face all of us each working day. All these to most of us are conquerable primarily because of our passion and love for our work. The Performance-Based Bonus was a welcome motivating initiative for all of us. It is likened to a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. All were inspired and enthusiasm towards work were heightened. Days, weeks, months have passed and the reckoning day of results was out. Alas, DTI-CAR is one of the best Regions . .. yes. . . the incentives are higher! The fact that we are best is feat in itself! But of course this is not the end. . .it is just a beginning of the real thing. How much will each be receiving . . . we are 108 in the region and 19 in Benguet Office. Since there would be 38 to receive more, we are hoping against hope that majority of us will make it. . . . Human nature dictates, everyone whether one is aware that he/she did well or average or even those who admitted their lack-luster performance are still hoping to receive more than the baseline incentives. It was suspenseful, who would qualify . . . and the fact remains not all will be rewarded equally. July 3 marks a milestone in DTI Benguet family, the 6 members who made it in the top 38 forged a pact that from this day on ANY ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES FROM THE PERFORMANCE-BASED BONUS RECEIVED BY MEMBERS OF THE BENGUET FAMILY WILL BE EQUALLY DIVIDED AMONG ALL STAFF INCLUDING JOB ORDERS IN DTI-BENGUET. Our bottom line goal is to work harder, push for excellence and be an inspiration to others. It is not competition between and among members but a team effort. We still maintain recognition of one’s contribution to achieve self actualization and excellence but all are geared towards the benefit of the team. It is without doubt that a person’s contribution no matter how small or how big is vital in order to complete and make a whole. No amount of money is worth than the joy each has in their hearts for grace found in sharing! The DTI Benguet family is proud to tell the world that we have pooled together our incentives and equally shared them with all members of our unit. We leave this legacy to other predecessors. We have high hopes that this simple gesture can inspire the rest of DTI to jointly endeavour for equitable distribution of incentives. We need to motivate our people to deliver better, faster and more efficient service to our clients . noblestar2013.
