Sa Ta Na Ma is the most important mantra used in Kundalini Yoga. Its translation is: Saa = Infinity, totality of the Cosmos Taa = Life (birth of form from the Infinity) Naa = death (or transformation) Maa = Rebirth They represent the five primal sounds of the Universe - SSS, MMM, TTT, NNN and AAA. The mantra is used to increase intuition, balance the hemispheres of the brain and to create a destiny for someone when there was none. This mantra describes the continuous cycle of life and creation. This mantra is a great catalyst for change. The English lyrics are from the poem “Hidden Music” by the great Persian mystic Jalaluddin Rumi: We have fallen in the arms of love where all is music. Don’t be worried if all the candles in the world flicker and die, we have the spark that starts the fire. Stop the flow of your words, open the window of your heart and let the spirit speak.
