I am sure there would be many of us who would be bearing these stones without a brunt and doing all sorts of alternate therapies to make it disappear NATURALLY. Well! to each one his own dilemma, I am only sharing with you why we went ahead with the surgery.. First we told ourselves that we were lucky to have found it incidentally on ultrasound during a routine health check up.. (This proves how important it is to go for an annual preventive health package.) Secondly and more fortunately it was big more than 2cm and yet there were no painful symptoms of gallstones. Thirdly and most importantly we decided to keep the fortunes and luck in our favor and went ahead with Cholecystectomy. Now for counting the blessings they were.. One behenji is young Two there were no issues like hyper tension..diabetes..to battle with during surgery. Three the gall stone had yet not created any hazardous havoc in the body. Fourth we appreciated docs point that large stones are usually precancerous and its best to get them out. Fifth it was absolutely absurd to be living in fear all the time or even wasting energy doing remedies, wishing,watching and hoping that the stone will disappear one fine day mm by mm...mm by mm... Sixth we understood the RISK FACTORS for gall stones were the 5 Fs..FEMALE..FAIR..FERTILE..FORTY n FAT.. and we chose to fight them back with the following 5 Fs..FAITH..FITNESS..FAMILY..FRIENDS n FINANCIAL FREEDOM..
