Sachchar committees report speaks volumes about the pathetic condition of the Muslims of the nation,furthermore, there can be no denying from the fact that Muslims are in more deplorable condition than that SC&ST live in at present. Muslims seem to have become only electoral stock for all the parties. When elections draw near,Muslims are remembered and their miserable condition is visible and alacrity & willingness to better their position among the so-called leaders get energized. As soon as elections are over, Muslims are forgotten the way a nightmare is forgotten. Its absolutely unfortunate that the largest minority is taken seriously only before the hustings. It will be pertinent here to mention here that Muslims are not likely to be taken in or taken for a ride as awareness among them has been created to a greater extent. If their faith is to be gained, politics based upon them will have be brought to an end and something concrete and significant will have to be done for them. Its about time to let the work do the talking !
