Sachin Tendulkar announces that he will not retire from Rajya Sabha ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Among controversies on his abysmal performance in the upper House of Parliament, Mr.Tendulkar asserted that all the rumors are false and he will not be retiring from the legislative body. Responding to media questions, he said that, though he was not physically present in parliament as he was at his brothers bedside who is undergoing a surgery almost 18 hours a day and was mentoring Dhoni for the remaining 6 hours every day on how to beat England and South Africa, the people of India and the future of his country was always in his thoughts. He mentioned that he has even devised some laws , specifically the Duckworth Lewis law, in case of a war with a neighbor. He will be presenting these bills in Parliament very soon, that is, in the next 10 - 15 years.. Mr.Tendulkar is also keen on setting up a Rajya Sabha cricket team with himself as captain and opener and has also proposed Shri. Rishang Keishing (92 years) as wicket keeper. He said that Shri. Keishing was a great team player. He is keen on a T20 match with rivals Loksabha team led mostly by Shri. NaMo and scoring a victory. He will be tabling this as a constitutional amendment very soon to ensure that the tradition is kept , for the years to come..
