Sad News. Severiana Salazar passed away yesterday at 9:00 a.m. peacefully at her home in Canones, NM and with her family at her bedside. She was 96 years old and funeral arrangements are pending and can be found later this week at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. Mrs. Salazar was the mother of New Mexico Cattle Growers Association members Carlos, Manuel, Cornelio Salazar and their brothers as well as Clara Suazo. She was the grandmother of Suzette Suazo Braden. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
