Sad Story.....! #THE_TWELVE_BROTHER There once lived a King n Queen who had 12 children. But it so happened that all these children were boys. One day the King said to the Queen, If our nxt child is a gal all da boy must die, for I would lyk my Daughter 2 inherit the whole of my Kingdom. The King warned his wife n said, U musnt say a word of this Matter to anyone. The poor mother could do nothng but it sit n grieve the whole day long. Lookng at her sorrowful face, the youngest son Benjamin went to her n said, Dear Mother, y r u so sad? U must tell me so that I can find a way to console u. I cannot tell u, dearest child, she answer. The boy insisted that his mother tell him why she was sad. At last she said, Dearest Benjamin, f ever I hve a Daughter, u r all to b killed, as ur father promised. She wept bitterly as she told him this. Benjamin tried to comfort her n said, You neednt worry, dear mother, we will go away from here n I am sure we shall b able to look after ourselves. Then his mother told him to go vit his brothers into the woods n hide themselves there. She added, Be always alert n u must keep ur eyes on the castle tower. If I hve a son I will put up a white flag, N then u will know that it is safe 4 u to return home. If I hve a daughter I will put up a red flag, n then u must flee 4 ur lives. She then called all the sons n said, you musnt 4get that I shall b praying 4 u. One day as Benjamin was looking towards the tower he saw a flag being put up. But alas! It was a red flag. He knew that the hurs had come 4 their fathers cruel plan to be carried out. So he went n told his brothers. When they bcame worried Benjamin comforted them n Said, we neednt worry. They all exclaimed in their anger, R we to be put to death 4 the sake of a gal? We will take our revenge. So they swore that they would take the life of any who should cross their path. As they were travelling farther into the woods they suddenly came upon a small hut. Out of ecstasy they all cried, were neednt go n search another place. This is just the place 4 us to live in.Benjamin, as U r the youngest, u musnt move about but stay at home, while we go n look for food. So the elder brothers went nto the woods brought home various kinds of food. In this way they lived on for ten years. One day the little gal happened to find twelve Little shirts lying among her mothers clothes. She began to ask many questions about the shirt. The poor mother with heavy heart told the little gal that the shirt belonged to her bothers. The girl then asked more question about them n insisted that she must know their wherebouts. So her mother related to her all that had happened B4 she was born. The next day she made a journey through the woods in search of them. Onans she went all through the day, n as the evening feel she came to the small house. There she found a young boy who looked at her with astonishment. Benjamin began to ask, what r u seeking? I am seeking 4 my twelve brothers, she answered. Then Benjamin realised that she was his sister. He said, you neednt search firther. We all r safe here. At this they were both overcome vit delight n embraced each other. At last Benjamin said, my brothers n I were so angery 4 being driven out of the kingdom for the sake of a girl that we made a vow to kill every girl whom we meet. I would gladly die, said his sister, if by doing so I could restore my brothers to their home. No,No, u shall not die, cried Benjamin, Hide urself the Door. When the others return. I will try to find a way to save u. When his brothers returned home, Benjamin asked them, hve u heard anything? Nothing they replied. That is strange, continue Benjamin. For u hve been out all day, n I hve been nly in the house, n yet I know mre than u. They insisted that he must tell them the news. Benjamin then told them that he would tell the news if they promised not to kill the first girl they would see. The brothers promised that would not do so. On getting their assurance, Benjamin went near the door and said, our sister is here, n brought her out. The brothers were suprised to see how beautiful their sister was. They immediately started loving her. They went and kissed her one by one. The sister was so happy to see her brothers that she decided to live with them.... Interesting Story GOD Bless Reader...!!!!
