Sad bitter-sweet day. Funeral service for friend and classmate - TopicsExpress

Sad bitter-sweet day. Funeral service for friend and classmate Robin Berkus Rice. The Rabbi conducted a really impressive service. He did a fantastic job explaining the meanings of the rituals and prayers of a Jewish funeral service. I had a nice talk with him after the service. It showed a lot about the person Robin was that so many former classmates, from Gledhill Elementary, Sepulveda Junior High, and James Monroe High School attended. I know I will leave out some, but it was really nice to see so many of our classmates, we just need to see each other during happier events. Jeff Berkeley, Bob Callendar, Mark Suzumoto, Paul Marks, Jim Kuklish, Jim Reed and Karen Smith Reed, Denny McFarland, Bill Fowler, Bill Balch, Ed Bilow, Eli Bomar and Bonnie Smith Bomar, Felice Richter, Suellen Martensson, Tracey Fogel, Kim Foster, Randi Siegall, Marci Weissman, Beth Baker, and a real pleasure to see and re-connect with Sheri Beijcy (we were in the same Kindergarden class, used to walk to Chase Street Elementary together, rode the bus or walked together to Sepulveda and Monroe) Talking with all of them afterward at Bill & Harriets home was really nice, just need to do it under better conditions. If I left anyone out let me know. Love You All. REST IN PEACE ROBIN.
