Sad, but true, a forked tongue not only can be found in a snake, but it can come in the mouth of those you thought were a friend. For whatever the reason a person speaks of you in this manner, it is only a circumstance where you will find peace by forgiveness. Human nature has a reflex to lash out and and confront, but to do such will only flame their desire for their mere meaningless words to consume and trouble your heart. Today, as with all burdens, I had to turn such a situation over to one who will never fail me, and that is the Lord above. So, wag the words, and say whatever your fears and insecurity allows you to say, for I know forgiveness, and peace is mine. When these feet touch the floor every morning, not one step will be taken for being anything less than the best person I can be, and the path I blaze will be my own, for I lead, and unlike some, will never follow...and as for concern and worry,...you should, because a true soul and good heart will always win...for it has been a outcome promised long ago. Thus forgiveness is not only divine, but it is mine.
