Sad commentary, but true for many--not all; however, like the song goes More money, more problems that could change IF we collectively (lol) spent money in our neighborhoods, which means we need a lot more black entrepreneurs and hire our own like the Indians, Mexicans, Vietnamese, Koreans, Arabs and whites....I loved OKC, because my uncle always had a cafe; he was the best cook, he also drove the city bus, but he had his own businesses too. It was great working for a black man who owned his own boutique and barber shop next door where I met many influential black people including Mohammed Ali and lots of entertainers, Delfonics and Archie Bell and the Drells--we as black people need to OWN our OWN and form LLC, Inc, Org...and the ones with the knowledge should mentor those who seek a better life than being liquid money, smh. Repost Cynthia Simpson--Thanks for sharing.
