Sad, huh? Reports are that so far over 360 churches have been a target of the Chinese government. China has allowed for freedom to worship (but to a small & regulated degree). Some feel that because Christianity has been growing at such a rapid rate of speed in China...the government perceives a possible threat (cult). Meanwhile, the government maintains that they are NOT building code compliant AND clearing illegal structures for urban development projects.
