Sad news for me and (maybe) some of you too, Your Event Director, is leaving you! Its just for 6 months and not until Spring, The beauty of parkrun, means it wont change a thing! I will be away through the Telford Spring and Summer, Perks of the job, a bit of a bummer! You will still get your free of charge weekly run, Because our Core Team, is second to none! Kind-hearted Kim who helps me so much, With the park manager, shes always in touch! Super Sally is a cool Run Director, Bossy but fair, a constant perfector! Excellent Emma is new to the team, An IT wizard, making the results a dream! Smashing Sarah who is also a Harrier, Despite lifes challenges, parkruns no barrier! Jogging Jon... the name says it all, An inspiration, to us all! It wouldnt be complete without Nathan Green, He may be young, but my word he is keen! None of us do this for reward or vanity, We do it because, parkrun is family! So although I will miss our event so dearly, Your inspiration, helps me see clearly! Our team and our runners are the best in the land, Thank you for making our parkrun so grand! In February next year our parkrun turns two, I am looking forward to PARTYING with you! I may be quite busy but will try and stay in touch, Look after my girls for me, Ill miss them so much!
