Sad statement of affairs in so many levels. Superficially, is this how you pay back the people who saved your life... for free? 2nd level down: Terrible, from the personal perspective, that the only thing a distraught young woman can reach out for is .. to become a suicide bomber!!! (how many youths of Nottingham, Omaha, Taipei, Sydney, Kinshasa, Pinsk, or Brno would consider being suicide bombers?? Even for those who reached a situation in which their lives seem shattered?) Is there no other way to express outrage, fear, pain? 3rd level down: How dismal it must be to live in an environment in which this is the natural thing to do if you feel desperate about your life. Remember - she wasnt angry about the doctors who saved her life in Israel, or anything else about Israel - it was her personal life. More could be said, but I think you get the idea. Shes not the real bad guy... its the Hamas-dictated situation that forced her into this. I for one suggest she be brought to Israel, be introduced to a fine young man from Nazareth or Abu Gosh, and build a real life.
