Sad story about Dan Hu, the young man who went missing since halloween, oct 31st. his body was found floating in the bay. his family cant believe he committed suicide. this 26 year old stanford grad had everything going for him.... brilliant software developer who started several startups, the first while a student at stanford. his friends say he love life and people and had a big heart. he loved the outdoors, practiced meditation, athletic and good looking. no one, not his friends or co-workers ever thought he was acting strangely before he vanished. he simply left his apt halloween. his roomie said he did seem more quiet than usual. he also complained of dizzyness and headaches the day before and went home sick. but those were the only things that could be interpreted as abnormal. the strange thing is he was reported missing six days after he disappeared ... almost a week. you would think that someone -- his boss or co-workers or friends would go to police sooner? he had a doc appt the day after halloween. there was a work event he was supposed to go to that night as well. he was going to return a shirt he bought that didnt fit correctly.... just very strange the lapse of time. and of course, that hampered the police investigation. i dont think he was murdered because police found his wallet, iphone intact when they found the body in the water. those contents would have been stolen if he was attacked and killed. another strange case ....
