Sad to hear of the Passing of Jack Bruce. One of the first albums I ever heard as a kid was Disraeli Gears - Tales of Brave Ulysses still blows my mind to this very day. Later on in the mid-80s I actually had a chance to meet Jack backstage at the Bottom Line in NYC. My guitar teacher at the time was Pat Thrall who was playing with Jack and invited me to come to the show after Eric had shown up the previous night. I thought Eric might show up again, but he had to head back to the UK. In any case, Mick Taylor was in town and ended up on stage. Pretty impacting musical moment in my life. RIP - Jack Bruce.
