Sad to hear & see pictures of the old North Slope restaurant being torn down today there in Eagle River. Made me think of my grandpa Clarence LaMay, who dang near had at least one meal a day there w/ his coffee buddies. The old elevator booth was my favorite (newer side of the building) We even had grandpas family/friends gathering upstairs there after he passed away. Sad, sad, sad. Careful E.R, all your old small town charm is slipping away fast.
