Sad to hear that Nigerias young tennis players are being deterred from playing in the only ITF tournament held in the country this year. It seems the local officials are keeping the prize money and offering only accommodation as a prize. The international players just have Lagos on a circuit, in and out, diet of protein and all thats good, sponsors and an entourage, scoop the remaining prizes and leave the locals waiting for the next chance in 12 months time. Big respect to anyone keeping these local players going.
