Sad to see one of Tauntons oldest shops closing in the New Year. Good luck for the future to all the staff at Canns Clothing shop which has been trading for 85 years. On another note,the former main Post Office in the town centre will be taken over by Italian restaurant chain Ask who also have Zizzi and Pizza Express in the town centre. (Gondola Group) The Cross Keys have now re-opened after their take over and re-fit. It has now become part of the Fayre and Square chain with a choice of main meals costing £10 for 2 people all day every day. There is also a small play area in the garden.
