Sad when I encounter on a daily basis so many stressed out, unhappy workers. I can see it in their faces, in their speech that these people are working jobs they didnt dream of doing when they were kids. Change of environment may be in the works. I need to be surrounded by people who are digging what they do and arent relying on a paycheck, the govt. or anything else to get them through the next two weeks...far too many Americans just getting by. Entreprenuers, business owners, self starters...Im all ears..Im not quite there yet...but I see you. Life is too short to trade time for pennies when there are people who are truly living not choosing to do what the majority follow...nothing wrong with it but there has to be other options than being around unsatisfied, pissed off employees. I watched an experienced, educated, respected hospital adminstrator walk in one of our meetings in tears, come sit next to me and say, CPT Pennington, Id retire today if I could... My heart goes out to her and all fighting the grind. So many say, well atleast I have the security of a job..someone once told me thats broke talk...there are people that are truly living the dream and that is whats itsl all about when we live on linited time. No one has guranteed secure jobs but we all act as if guranteed pensions and paychecks are ours, the employee mindset. It isnt about being ungrateful...most when you put your heart out for all to see you put that on you but the bottom line is time, it is the most precious commodity we have and how much of it do we give up to the boss, to the paycheck, to the job?
