Saddle-up for an Extraordinary Horseback Trail Ride in True South Texas as Cowboys did over 100 years ago. Join us on the Frontier Lands of the Rio Grande River and experience viewing the Green Anoles, Riverboat Plantation, and the last of the Sabals Palmetto forests. In addition you may experience seeing the Green Jay, the Chachalaca, the White-tipped Dove and other Lower Rio Grande Valley species. DATE: Saturday, August 24, 2013 Donation: $10 – Per Horse Rider and it will include dinner plate and beverage $ 5 – Non Horse Rider wishing receive dinner plate and beverage ITINERARY: Check In starts at 8 am Preparing to ride out at 3pm Depart to the Rio Grande River at 4pm Ride Back toward the Ranch at 7pm Dinner will be served & raffle will be conducted 7 – 8pm. ADDITIONAL ACTIVITES: Music will be provide by D.J. and children Bouncer will be available for family member staying TRAIL DETAILS: Enjoy 6 miles of trails, while meandering through Rio Grande River and forested Sabals Palmetto Plantation. FACILITIES AVAILABLE: Portable rest rooms and water available for horses ADDITIONAL: Pre – Registration is not required. Every Rider will automatically will be register for giveaway certificate for 2 people at Holiday Inn Express at South Padre Island Texas and other prizes will give out. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Please not dispose of any trash, cans, etc. along the trail ride, farmer fields, and border wall, etc.
