Sadguru Prabhuji answers disciple’s questions related to Enlightenment Respected Prabhuji, Disciple: Should one be enlightened before delivering the lectures on enlightenment? Prabhuji - Be the Messenger till you become Message! Disciple:I was wondering should I wait till I get enlightenment. (For delivering the lecture on enlightenment) Prabhuji - It does not work that way. The practice is to be the Messenger of the Master till you get enlightened. The more the message you deliver, you will understand better. All of us started as Messengers of the Master until we realized. It is the Message which should be authentic and you should learn to deliver the message beautifully to the audience. Example - Vivekananda - Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. But to deliver spiritual message you need audience- Satsang. General message can be delivered to audience like your students, faculty members. # Another way could be to form a study group on scriptures - Bhagavad-Gita etc with like minded people. Once in a week take up Shloka/translation and discuss. # The process is simple: You become the messenger. For example when you give lecture on a topic - you will quote the original researcher and derive authenticity since you have not done yourself research. Until you attain enlightenment, you need to reference the enlightened during your delivery. # Deliver the Message of the Masters until you become the Message. (You get enlightened). # To start with you can deliver the talks/ conduct study circle in Yoga Vashishta, Astavakra gita also or Bhagavad-Gita or any scripture of your choice. Disciple - We should only talk when we ourselves have full understanding. I know I need some more growing up. Prabhuji - This is all the process of growing up. Don’t worry about being enlightened. Jump in to the stream of enlightenment - process of enlightenment. The stream will carry you forward. # The principle of life is, be the change you want bring about in the world. If you want to bring about enlightenment in the world you need to be enlightened. If you want to teach Phd students, you need to be PhD as simple as that. # That does not mean that you have to wait till you become enlightened. Teach the authentic Message of the Masters faithfully to the best extent you can. # The message coming out of the enlightened one transforms people and makes them Divine. The message coming out of the mouth of unenlightened people will inform people and create interest in seeking enlightenment. Both are valid and they have their place in life.
