Sadly , Fellow Fun Seekers this will be our last 6:00 wake -up call from our expedition leader Carlos. The Zodiacs are launched and ready to take us to our final Galapagos destination , Baltra . Here we will only see a tiny modern airport and then our jet will carry us to the mainland of Guayaquil Ecuador . While waiting to disembark in the main meeting room my roommate Paula Henson Wright, gave Carlos a wake-up call on the ships intercom , her voice was heard throughout the ship . We were off the ship before Carlos could ferret out who made the call ! It was tooo funny! We found our flight delayed four hours in Baltra . We took full advantage of this time to start a game of Rummy with fellow adventurers to pass the time . I offered to teach the players how to play Strip Go Fish but there were no takers , seems like after thirty , people like to keep their clothes on ! Our connecting flight to the states was canceled totally in Guayaquil ! Yeah ! A whole day to take advantage of sight seeing with friends ! American Air put us in a posh Oro Verde hotel where we had a suite with 2 baths and three queen beds and two LCD TVs . Linda Carroll , Paula Wright and I took the suite and the others took single rooms . We showered and hit the streets of Ecuador!
