Sadly, Philippines is like a child, the requires good guidance, moral reinforcement and discipline ... since the days of marcos, the rich have become richer and the poor even more less off than before and the security climate is not any better ... time is now revealing the differences in rule - between then marcos the dictator as opposed to the new group of scallywags presidents and their administrations .. not to mention the existing scallywags in government agencies .. maybe change will have to come from someone with an iron hand .. now there will be some who will not like dutertes way, and thats ok .. he is not perfect nor does he claim to be .. does he have tactics against crime that can be questioned as human rights violation, maybe, but if his killing criminals, drug dealers and abusers .. then he is fighting for the human-rights for the innocent and law abiding citizens as these criminals and drug dealers dont abide by human rights laws when they kill innocent - where as the laws are so corrupted that a criminal ends up with more rights the the innocent .. what message does one send to the generations ahead? its ok to be a criminal, cause the government will protect you and your civil rights? .. please time for an iron hand, a no bull shit approach and bureaucratic red tap and legal mambo jumbo .. crime is rampant, courts and prisons are congested and public money is being wasted on criminals rather than re-allocation to health and educational services ... if they have been caught, they are given a choice, face justice or leave .... if they (criminals and drug dealers/pushers) dont chose either one .. then next time they are caught .. they are gone .. warning made, action taken, problem resolved permanently and without the chance to reform (cost money to the public) or re-offend .. simple, then move on ... it wasnt though these criminals and drug fiends werent given an option .. stop what youre doing or leave my town, kinda warning .. then the choice is up to the criminals who have heard this clear message .. i guess most have moved away, others have been silenced .. to bad we cant even at best have him as DILG, at least the police force would get some major reforms up their sky rockets! ... empowering them to arrest even the most influential without fear of reprisals GOOD LUCK TO THE PHILIPPINES - IF MAYOR D DOES NOT RUN, THEN WE HAVE LIMITED PICKINGS OF GOOD CANDIDATES ... THE REST OF THEM ARE OLD SCHOOL CRONIES, MOVIE STARS (FEELING SELF IMPORTANCE), AND SCALLYWAG DYNASTIC FAMILIES LIKE AQUINO, ROXAS AND THE REST ..
