Sadly, after only one week, big OSCAR favourite, BIRDMAN (15) will be leaving us. Its a fantastic film (Ive seen it twice!!!) so please make the effort to see it before it disappears forever. BIRDMAN or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance is a black comedy that tells the story of an actor (Michael Keaton) - famous for portraying an iconic superhero - as he struggles to mount a Broadway play. In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself. Birdman is hotly tipped for 10 Oscar nominations: Best Picture, Director (Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu), Actor (Michael Keaton), Supporting Actor (Edward Norton), Supporting Actress (Emma Stone), Original Screenplay, Cinematography, Editing, Production Design and Music Score. Possibly, visual effects, too. Your last chances to catch it will be Today (Tuesday) & Wednesday at 20:30, as well as Thursday at 14:30 and 17:15.
