Sadly, the working conditions remain the same for many women garment workers, but look at the bright side, in the last 103 years women can now: vote, have credit cards in their own names, legally terminate a pregnancy, purchase the pill, have access to emergency contraception, attend Ivy League schools, attend a graduate school as a married woman, become an astronaut, become a supreme court justice. Weve come a long way women, so why cant we receive equal pay in todays society? Equal pay for equal work!
