Sadly, this is what has to happen to produce dairy. Although I am not a mother and dont fully understand the bond between mother and baby, I can only imagine the heartbreak that the mother goes through and the sense of loss and confusion that the calf experiences. As a woman and a feminist, this utterly breaks *my* heart and to know that it is entirely unnecessary makes it 10 times worse. This video is not gory or disturbing. It just shows the truth.
