Sadly to announce that another blow to Kenya after losing the mountain bull now Satao is gone! The famed elephant lived in a vast wilderness stretching over a thousand square kilometres (400 square miles), a major challenge for rangers from the government-run Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) to patrol. I am so frustrated that now poachers have continued killing our elephants using just simple methods poisoned arrow. Mountain bull escaped many bullets only to die by arrows! Its disheartening and demotivating ! My friends ! Let us remain united and continue working not just talking and creating emotions out of this! This has come just before we walk in Tsavo , Taita Taveta region. I am very down as I write this note looking at what is ahead of us! Its in our hands and we can !
