Sadly to many today church seems to have become something that is very personal, individualistic and a source of ownership to which one feels a sense of recognition, security and identity. Everybody wants to be tagged as a pastor or he feels incomplete. Its become an identity crisis. Church is no more seen as a body of people whom Christ has purchased by his blood and who share life together in submission to each other. Its more of being part of somebodys ministry and being united to fulfill his dream and vision. The hour has come for us to ask ourselves some very serious questions but to also seek for answers and align with the honor and integrity of scripture. Ask yourself, what are you part of? the church if Christ or someones personal ministry?
