Sadly we had to issue this statement today..... We have had a slight problem with a competitor who can not match our prices or service. She has claimed..we do not advertise final prices (we do) amongst other things or that we are dodgy / not bonded. She has also used other people who are in charge of fan pages for Cuba to make these claims as well and in particular criticism about one of our experts...So we thought today we would introduce one of us properly so you know who your speaking to over the phone and perhaps this person will realise just who she is making her false claims about. 1. We will ALWAYS be lower priced than Thomas Cook or Virgin Holidays online prices. Same goes for any Thomas Cook, Virgin or other agency high street shop. 3. Andrew - Andrew is our foremost Cuba Expert - many of you have spoken to him. He is a former member of the armed forces who has served in war zones in Bosnia, Kosovo, Serbia, Macedonia, Afghanistan & Iraq. He is decorated for his service with several commendations from senior officers. When he finally left he had been serving our country for over 20 years. In 2008 Andrew was seriously injured in an IED explosion during operational duties. As a result of this part of his lower spine collapsed along with permanent nerve damage to his face, leaving once side frozen very similar to a stroke would. He is blind in one eye as well. This has resulted in the need for help walking and at times wheelchair use. This will eventually become permanent wheelchair use. He relies on morphine to be able to move about and reduce the pain he is in. Now I am sure most would agree that after this he had earned his retirement, but he felt that everyone should work if they can and he felt that not being in employment was not good enough, so he came to us to work, so he could work from home and continue contributing taxes to his country and not claiming benefits, whilst managing the dreadful pain and effects he is left with, all for protecting us. He has NEVER asked for sympathy or any special arrangements which is typical of who he is I am very sure that anyone would agree with me that this is more than anyone could expect of someone who has already given so much for our freedoms. I haven’t named the competitor, but they follow this page. Perhaps now you will realise that it is not Andrews integrity that is up for question but yours.
