Safety & Security is our #1 Priority! It was reported over the weekend that a middle school student might have been in possession of a weapon last week. After a comprehensive investigation by the Garfield Heights Middle School Administration and The Garfield Heights Police Department, it was determined that a student was in possession of a BB gun. The student was identified, is now subject to disciplinary and possibly legal action, and the BB gun was recovered. The school reacted swiftly and the matter was resolved. The safety and security of all of our students is the district’s number one priority.
