Safety Sundays Shot #31 I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! Now back to the grind, or the safes ;-) This week we look at a very simple yet a common position that we find ourselves in or see others in. All we have left is the 1 ball then the 8 ball, looks easy right?! However we are mid table and a scratch can be avoided but our shape on the 8 might be left to chance. We simply hit straight into the 1 ball and push the 8 ball into the rail (leaving it on or as close to the rail for a harder kick to make) and leave the 1 ball between the cue ball and 8 ball. They may kick and hit the 8 ball but we will get to that if it comes, this is a lot better option than selling out the game!! Good luck!!
