Safety as a frequent traveler is not something I dwell on. I have the good fortune to be able to travel all over Asia and meet so many wonderful people. Last week for example while in India you register that the hotel has car bomb inspections, security at every customer building and excessive airport scrutiny. However even with this awareness you put it aside while travelling (its not to be dwelled on) however there is a slight relief coming home to safe Australia, even if I don’t normally admit it. Yesterday I came up to our Sydney office in Martin Place and on the way to the office walked past a cafe as a loan idiot with a gun held the place up and sparked an 18h siege. My perception of safe Australia has just changed and reminds me there is no boarder to fools and violence, none the less I am determined that foolish actions of one should not define our lives. So a special thought to everyone and your families to have a safe holiday!
