Sage is a 20 year old, 16.1hh Belgian/QH cross. Located in The Dalles, Oregon, She bathes, ties, stands for the farrier, no rear or buck, a great all around mare. She is NOT marish at all, acts almost like a gelding in that respect. Good on the ground and in the saddle, definitely beginner or husband safe. She has been ridden English and western, does well in both. Sage has had dressage training, but hasnt been ridden much in English for a couple years. She has been jumped before, hunter seat over fences and also a small cross country course, did well at both, height from 18-26. She would be a great beginner or step-up horse for a 4-her or Pony club rider, could also do OHSET or WAHSET. Lots of western riding, fantastic on trails, has been right next to paragliders jumping and only looked at them. Does great bareback, which is what I am riding her in the video linked below. Patterned on most gaming events, been to tons of playdays and camps, not super fast at gaming, but reliable and not hot at all. Sage has been in parades, including night parades while wearing lights and done great. Has seen and pushed cows before, been around goats, sheep, chickens, deer and pigs, including having piglets run through her pen. Has been penned by herself, and also with geldings and mares.
