Sahifah Hammam ibn Munabbih is perhaps one of the earliest known hadith collections, by the Tabieen scholar Hammam ibn Munabbih (died 101 AH). Hammam bin Munabbih was a student of Abu Hurairah and well-known among the scholars of the hadith. The hadith within it are faithfully witnessed in the later collections of al-Bukhari, Muslim and hundreds of other hadith collections — both through narrations of Abu Hurairah and narrations from other Companions.
