Sailed yesterday to the USS SAN Diego. Greeted pleasant conditions on the ocean we made good time. Captain Andrew Favata took the helm under guidance of Captain Tom and made a perfect drop EXACTLY where we wanted to be. I tied in on the forward edge of the keel. The bottom temp was 46 degrees, but unfortunately the visibility was a dusty 8. There was more collapse to the wreck but nearly as dramatic as last year. Despite the marginal visibility all the divers had good dives. The ride home was the usual fun and Morgan Freeman May have been there at least in spirit.
