Saint Lucia- Day 6- Wednesday. Snorkelling with the fish today! Early breakfast, then met with the Snorkel and Scuba guys. Took a boat out to Soufriere. Absolutely stunning scenery. Our first dive was just off of a beach, it was really fun snorkelling and seeing all the colourful fish. Wed bought an underwater disposable camera, so hopefully have a few nice photos. The boat came back for us when the Scuba guys were done and we went to our second dive further round the coast. This involved jumping off the boat into deep waters, which I found more nerve wracking, but once we swam close enough towards shore the bottom became visible and I was a bit happier. Again saw lots of interesting fish, once we were tired we waved for the boat and it came back for us. Got back to the resort for lunch, absolutely exhausted. Em was zonked out from taking sea-sickness tablets so she dozed by the pool whilst I read. Then a little leisurely swim in the pool before a 7pm cocktail party that the manager invited everyone too they had an amazing steel pan band. Then dinner- Italian night tonight- then an early night, after applying lots of after-sun as Id got a bit burnt from snorkelling. I wish id worn a tshirt in the water, as the snorkelling vest that keeps you afloat has left sunburnt strap marks so it looks like Ive been wearing a bra!
