Saints (Sufis) always emphasize that the Tariqat (Sufism, the mystic way of life) is derived from Shariah. If their claim is true then would they like to answer these questions Are the ideologies of Wahdat-ul-Wajood (Unity of Existance) and .Wahdat-ul-Shahood (Omnipresence of Allah Almighty) and Halool Transmigration) lawful in the light of Shariah? If it is so then prove it with arguments( from Quran and Sunnah). On the contrary, if these ideologies contradict the shariah then why those Sufis who posses such a creed are supported What is the justification of plastering graves ( tajsis),also is their any allowance of construction of high buildings over them, lighting lamps on them, sweeping them, illuminating them, covering them (with precious ghulafs (covers)) , making Etekaf ( retiring for some period for prayers) in them and circumambulation of them Retiring for mystic seclusion, holding the breadth, fasting for ever, standing all the night and standing for ever, weakening the body by teasing their selves, not liking the NIKAH (marriage) and finally cutting the relationships, what is the permissibility of these acts (of Sufis) Also please inform us about the revelation which was descended upon the prophet Mohammad (SAW) particularly (the part of revelation ) which belongs to deen (shariah) was all that conveyed to ummah or some part of it was hidden and not told to the followers ( who were the Sahabah (the pious predecssors)). In clear words (I want to ask) Was some part of the shariah revealed upon Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in the form of secrets and symbols [Remember Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) is considered to be the supreme leader in the class of Sufis (mystics) ]? If the answer to the question is affirmative then we require from you a proof and if the answer is in negation then what are the resources of hidden knowledge in mysticism (taswaf)? Also What are the talks ( speeches and spiritual lectures ) in which Sufis talk privately to each other in the way of secrets and symbols s? If those talks belong to deen then why those talks are kept secret from the common folk as prophet saw said “Convey, Even if it is an Ayah” Does “Taswar-e-Shaikh (Making a fantasized picture of one’s shaykh in mind and always thinking about it even in prayer) is permissible in the light of shariah. Is it necessary for the success of hereafter to pass through the ways of ‘Salook’( mystic way ) ? if the answer is no then won’t it be better to leave these sort of acts as its benefits are far lesser than its evils. And remember this is an age in which carmathian( a sect of shi’ites ,batinees) thoughts have suppressed the Tasawaf in all the ways. Is the knowledge obtained from Kashf (manifestation) is reliable? If the answer is no then what do you say about the Sufis who have relied upon their Kashf instead of Shariah. Monasticism (Rahbaniah) was disliked by islam so what is the major difference between monasticism and today’s Taswaf (mysticism)? Mehfal-e-Sama ( i.e. Music Gatherings), Wajd (i.e. dance in a fit of religious frenzy) and haal ( meaning: be enraptured) was it practiced in the age of Sahabah (the companions of the holy prophet Mohammad saw). If these acts posses any sort of weight (in the sight of shariah) why these acts weren’t present in the age of Sahabah ( may Allah be pleased with all of them) ? And on the contrary if these acts are condemnable then why they are adopted….? [ Referring to the conditions of sufia which are the resultant of listening music and after that getting into Wajd and Haal] Why is it so that the age of Sahabah which is spread over a century we do not find more than 10 or 12 karamat ( referring to miraculous acts done by Allah’s Wali) by the whole Jamat of Sahabah ( if we consider all the rawayahs of Ahadees in the books of Ahadeeth. Only Miskawt-ul-Masabeeh has a separate chapter on the Karamat of Sihabah not all the Ahadeeths of which falls in the category of Saheeh). On the other hand a single sufi sheikh is reported to have done dozens or some time hundreds of such miraculous acts in his life (These miraculous acts can be found in every 2nd book of Sufis). And some times these miraculous acts are so magnificent that the Mojezahs ( mojezahs: Miracles, Are those acts which are especially for the messengers of Allah they can not be performed by any one other than a messenger of Allah. These are supernatural type of events which prophets display as a proof of their prophet hood) of the prophets becomes tiny when they are compared with the miraculous deeds of Sufis. (My question is that ) Are these miraculous acts (by Sufis as reported by Sufis) a deception Such graves or tombs in which the bones of some dead animal are buried instead of a human being and some time there are buildings in which nothing is buried at all. So what is the reason of people’s desires being fulfilled from such a place. The batani (carmathian) system which is adopted by Ahle-Tariqat (i.e Sufi Shaykhs) who declares ghous, qutab, abdal, autad’s designations and a Wali of greater designation dismisses a wali of lower designation in a minute and a new man (no matter if he is a thief, beggar, Christian, Jew etc.) is designated as a new wali ( may be he appointed as a qutab, abdal …..in a particular region). Do these sort of acts were present in the age of our beloved prophet saw What’s the reason that the Ulemas of Taswaf ( mysticism) have assured since the beginning of Tasawaf ( mysticism) that the Tariqat ( mystic way of life ) is derived from Shariah and there is no other way but to follow Shariah but the Ulemas of Shariah had never affirmed any of their claim and have always refuted them. About those “Aulia Allah” ( the Sufis ) whom it is proved that they were indulged in the acts which go against the shariah ( even in this case) why they are so much honored in the ranks of sufis? Why after their name the word “Qudus Sarhu” (may his ranks are raised)are written ? and also why they are still regarded as “Aulia Allah” ( The friends of Allah) Is it correct to regard those sufis who were irreligious (secular) as Muslims and Allah’s Walis
