Saints of God, It was a weekend to remember with the presiding Bishops of South Africa Elias and Prisca Soko visiting the Cape Town City District church over the entire weekend. Deep teachings. Sunday morning Bishop Elias took to the podium to deliver a word out of this world before conducting a powerful deliverance session. He taught on the message titled How to experience victory in your Christian life. The bible says we are more than conquerors. We are above not beneath. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. No weapon formed against you shall be able to prosper. If God gave Paul victory he can also give you victory. You will not die young do not believe the doctors report about your life. You will finish your course and degree. Do not look at what is happening around you but at what God says about you. 1. Understanding what church is all about. Some people just come to be entertained at church. Hebrews 12:22-24 The bible says in Psalms 119:114 give me understanding and I will live. Many people spend many years coming to church but they are not transformed. Church is where we receive the miracles and the blessings from God. Zion in the scripture refers to the church of God. We are not coming to look at each other and socialize but to meet spiritual beings. There are many angels that are present as we are here. Angels are ministering spirits ready to minister to us. All the heroes of faith who overcame are the great cloud of witnesses surrounding us. They are gone physically but their spirits are here. The spirits of just men made perfect. When you come to church you are not coming to meet ordinary people but to rub shoulders with angels, Jesus and God the father. Angels are super beings excelling in strength. Psalms 84:7 You cannot come weak and go back the same. You go from strength to strength as you meet God in Zion. You might be seeing a big mountain before you and you come to church your spirit will be lifted up. From tomorrow every mountain that was before you will be flattened. Psalms 73:16-17 Church is a place of spiritual illumination. The entrance of his word brings light. Every stupidity in your life will vanish. You do not accept everything that the devil throws at you but when you come to Zion you will know that you must prosper and you must not be sick in your body. When you come to Zion you will know that the devil is a destroyer. I used to worship a snake but when I came to Zion I understood that I must fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Some have strings and things in their pockets but when they come to Zion they will know that those things do not help. 3. Obadiah 1:17 It is a place of refuge and escape. When you are running away from all the things following people in the world. It is a place of deliverance. Every witch, spiritual husband will go and leave you. Your church must be your spiritual home. You must be raised in a home environment where you are rebuked, corrected and asked. You must belong to a church were the pastor or leaders will ask you where us you bible. You cant have hairstyles when you do not have a bible your priorities are wrong. Obadiah 1:17 The devil came to kill steal and destroy but when you come to Zion you become aggressive and take what is yours. Possessing our possessions. When people are chasing you and pushing you, move because they are taking you to your next level just like Joseph. Your destiny is not tied in your boss but in God. Not every ministry was raised for you, there is a spiritual home meant for you. Not every prophet speaks to your life. For every believer to be victorious it needs a shepherd. Matthew 9:35 This is the only prayer request of Jesus to pray for workers. No sheep is mature enough to protect itself from the wild animals. No believer can say me I am strong enough to stay along. Even for you to marry a good partner you need a shepherd. Shepherds have spiritual binoculars. It doesnt matter how handsome he is before he marries you; you need a shepherd to help you. A girl was crazy about an engineer and brought him to the pastor who gave her a warning but she was adamant. Just before they got married the guy ran away with another girl and the pastor said God has saved you. Then some time after a soldier said I want to marry this girl and she agreed to marry him and later he was promoted to be the governor. The Engineer was under the governor and would open the door for the lady. Do not come to church walking in a lazy manner come early. In Botswana some people didnt even have bibles or notebooks scaring away angels. You must be alert to receive the man of God. Get into the statement of the man of God as he is speaking. Engage the power of the Holy Ghost Mark 1:9-12 You need to be empowered by the Holy Ghost. It will destroy every taste of worldly things. The Holy Ghost led Jesus into the wilderness to prepare for his ministry. Like 4:14-15 He returned in the power of the Holy Ghost. We are exposed to things that are dangerous you need the Holy Ghost that will drive you away from those things and bad company. What you see in the TV can happen in your house. A lady met a doctor in a hospital who proposed to her and she said no. During the night she saw that man same face but different body and sleep with her until she bled. You do not know people that you meet every day you need to be empowered by the Holy Ghost. You must not relax if you are not filled with the Holy Ghost. You need to be prayerful and fast when you come to minister even in the praise and worship. You cannot go up there; there are arrows aimed at you; you just be empowered by the Holy Spirit. You must be alert. When we pray you must be aggressive. The apostles in the New Testament first question to believers was did you receive the Holy Ghost when you believed. Paul met believers who said we did not even hear about him. Speaking in tongues is just evidence that He is there. Acts 8:14-17 They sent Peter and John to pray For them to receive the Holy Ghost. One man wanted to buy this power from Peter and John. We are still stealing, telling lies because we do not have the Holy Ghost. We need the Holy Ghost for us to be convicted. In the old church they used to confess without compulsion but today they can speak in tongues while living in sin. The Holy Ghost will make you bold. Some people do things for other people but when you have the Holy Ghost you will be bold for his Kingdom. Jeremiah 1:19 When you are filled with the Holy Ghost at school, work, single married, deacon, elder, pastor , bishop or archbishop they will fight against you but they will not prevail. They will not prevail against. The results are already declared and are in your favour. All your enemies are under your feet. Saints of God, What a word from the bishop of the nation. If God be for us who then can be against us? I tell you we were blessed by the servants of God beyond measure. Our God is a good God. Let us continue in prayer for these our bishops Elias and Prisca Soko for our District Pastors Luvy and Praise Mlilo and for the Archbishops the patriarchs of our time Apostles Ezekiel and Eunor Guti for the work of this great ministry. Our God is a good God. Psalm 84:7 “They will continue to grow stronger, and each of them will appear before God in Jerusalem.”
