Sajid Nadiadwala is not putting this Kick of Salman Khan for - TopicsExpress

Sajid Nadiadwala is not putting this Kick of Salman Khan for sale Kick stays on to be the highest grossing film of the year and its songs continue to play till date. While for Salman Khan it is seventh century, producer turned director Sajid Nadiadwala has already found his name on the wall of fame as the only debutant director with a 200 crore film to his credit. To celebrate this all around success, a Coffee Table book was brought out by Nadiadwala which was tantalizingly titled Kick - A Karizmatic Journey. However, there is a catch - The book wont be making it to the shelves or online stores for public sale. Despite tremendous craze around getting hold of the book, it would stay on within the confines of the inner circle of Sajid and Salman. This would give it a sense of intrigue, mystery and curiosity, says an insider, Sajid was sure about it from Day One that he wont be promoting his personal journey of working with Salman and making Kick with the audience. For the aam junta, it would be his film that would speak the loudest. However for his personal take on affairs as well as the tremendous work that went behind the making of the film, the details would be restricted to who-is-who of the industry and those belonging to friends and families. Now this piece of news is of course disappointing for fans and followers of Salman Khan and Sajids film since insiders claim that Kick - A Karizmatic Journey is worth a collectors item. Reason being that it is said to be the classiest coffee table book ever to have come out of the Indian film industry. Also, one ends up catching Salman Khan in all the fervor, what with several moments from his action, dramatic, musical, romantic and emotional scenes been captured in 200 odd poster size pages. The book contains dedicated chapters on not just Salman Khan but also how the now-famous mask was put together, the bike which was designed as a fusion affair, the sets that were erected in the most indigenous manner, the color combination was made picture perfect, the production design that brought in the perfect grandeur, the costume design that was taken care of with utmost perfection and last but not the least, the visual effects that were impeccable. This isnt all as there are several unreleased posters from the film included as well along with many tidbits and anecdotes. With so much going for the book, online media is already buzzing with the desire for catching hold of the book which weighs a few kilos and makes for a truly blue coffee table affair. However, despite being insisted upon to market the book for a wider read across not just India but even overseas, Sajid is not yet biting the bait by keeping it strictly between friends and family. bollywoodhungama/more/news/view/id/2733670
