Salam satu malaysia.. 16 SEPT 2014. My exploration - Rockin the BATU PUNGGUL PINNACLE (about 1000ft), vertical 90°. Among the hardest thing i ever climbed. Located in Sepulot. remote area close to Kalimantan border. 250++ km from Kota Kinabalu. Trek - Hike - Cave - Climb. Limestone -ROCK CLIMBING SKILL required. Climb at your own risk. It is dangerous. Hardcore people, you may try it! I get cut here &there, my fingers koyak too. You need gloves. I was stuck 2 times on the rock like the spiderman, I cant pull my shoes. So, bring your rock climbing shoes for the scramble up the peak. For the cave exploration TINAHAS, it was exciting treat of unusual stalactites, stalagmites and bats. Mossy nest swiftlets (whose nests are not edible) nesting low down on the walls of the cave. Trekking is about 20 mins., muddy & slippery. So much thing to explore in the virgin forest , we missed the hidden waterfall... we dont have much time. Info : Location : Sepulot, Nabawan, Keningau. 250 km drive from KK, 3- 4hrs.
