Saldana said out her mouth that shes not black women two years ago. I personally like Zoe but she put her self out of our heritage entirely, instead of representing her diverse ethnicitys. So I feel she should not play this role, Nina is a beautiful and strong revolutionary women . She can not be measured or compared to idealistic standards such as the remarks people have been making in this post. I first learn about Nina Simone at Kendra Vie Boheme Dennard Viva Black Dance Workshop. Ever since I was move by her character. What do you think about this? Can this be compare to Elizabeth Taylor playing Cleopatra or is this OK because Saldana is melanin dominant ?
