Sales Director ....4* Hotel A fantastic opportunity has come up for a Sales Director to work with a leading and a known 4* hotel in Amman!! The main scope of the role involves: 1. Contribute to the hotel sales strategy and plan key activities to drive new business and maintain our existing customer base. 2. Assist the Sales & Reservations personnel in developing key account plans. 3. Develop customer accounts with geographic territory to increase market/ customer share. 4. Source & develop new business for the hotel. 5. Establish, enhance and maintain productive quality working relationships with key internal and external customers. The key responsibilities of the role are: 1. To develop the annual hotel sales plan. 2. To achieve hotel sales targets. 3. To proactively manage the hotel sales and marketing budget. 4. To carry out sales calls, ideally 15 quality face to face appointments per week. 5. Maintain and develop new business opportunities. 6. To compile Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly and Annual Sales Reports as required 7. To drive the hotels sales via Wholesaler, Tour Operator, Travel agency, and Third Part Web contracts. Requirements for the role include: 1. A proven track record in the Sales field and at least 2/3 years experience as a Sales Director in a 4/5* Hotels 2. Relevant qualification 3. Be able to work on your own initiative. 4. Excellent communication and customer care skills. 5. Excellent planning and organizing skills. 6. Be able to cope well under pressure. 7. Highly motivated.
