For more information, visit the companys website at ge Posted Position Title: Sales Manager Career Level: Experienced Function: Sales Function Segment: Sales Management Location: Iraq U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: City: Bagdad Postal Code: Relocation Assistance: Yes Role Summary/Purpose: Lead Sales and Business Development in Iraq Essential Responsibilities: * Lead the Sales for Power Generation Services in Iraq, covering all long/short term operations and maintenance activities for GE power generation assets in Iraq. * Responsible for driving orders and sales through new and existing clients * Develop and execute specific account sales plans with the government, IPP’s, and EPC’s * Accountability to deliver on commitments and communicate progress, needs, and strategies to win in a competitive landscape, meet/exceed sales target * Be knowledgeable of competitive and market environment. * Customer centric mind set focused on building and improving customer relationships and utilizing value selling of our technologies to make a difference * Create and drive process changes to develop winning strategies and order closure. * Cultivate long term relationships at all levels of customer organization. * Responsible for managing and developing channel partners within assigned geography. Drive the Power Generation Services strategy with the GE Thermal team to support winning new projects and penetrate the Iraq market with long term operations and maintenance agreements.z Qualifications/Requirements: * B.S. or B.A. in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline. * Proven technical and commercial sales experience. * Good understanding of power plant fundamentals * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Strong ability to learn software sales tools * Outstanding interpersonal skills that enable working relationships externally (customers) and internally, and a strong team player * Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment * Flexibility to travel to different areas in Iraq * Fluent in English and Arabic. * Minimum 5+ years of experience in Energy industry, focused on Power Generation or Oil & Gas.
