Sales and Technical Representative APR, LLC is looking to fulfill the position of Sales and Technical Representative. This position is located at APR, LLC Headquarters in Opelika, Alabama. APR, LLC is looking for a motivated individual that will work with other team members in the department to promote a positive consumer experience with direct to consumer accounts and/or B2B accounts. Overall Responsibility Responsible for overseeing the overall sales activity for a group of domestic wholesale accounts and/or retail customer accounts. The overall sales activity includes, but is not limited to, new product training, sales tasks, technical assistance, event promotion, and training support. Key Tasks and Responsibilities • Manage relationships with domestic APR Distributors. Duties include sales tasks, customer service, and technical support. Specifically, manage and facilitate marketing approaches, pricing arrangements, and the ability to understand a performance shops everyday business needs. • Coordinate with other account managers to help develop and cultivate the APR Dealer Network. • Negotiate distributor agreements, and enforce these agreements with our current distributors. • Follow up on distributor requests in a timely manner on a daily basis. • Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure distributor requests are answered. • Ability to meet monthly sales goals • Respond to direct to consumer and B2B inquires via phone, email, and forums. • Ability to quickly learn and then train retail customers and wholesaler on new products. • APR Mobile product support to the end user Skills and Attributes • Preferred Volkswagen Automotive Group enthusiast • Excellent planning and organization skills • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills • Professional appearance and manner • Computer literacy, specifically Microsoft products including Microsoft Office • Problem Solver • Ability to negotiate effectively • Ability to travel • Excellent oral and written skills • Excellent customer service skills Education/Experience • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience • At least two years’ experience in a customer service/sales position • Preferred previous VAG experience Benefits Offered: • Comprehensive healthcare and dental plan • AFLAC Supplemental Insurance • Paid holidays and PTO • Employee recognition and company/team events • Retirement plan: 401(K) Traditional & ROTH Option Please send your resume and cover letter to resumes@goapr
