In this intensely moving performance of words, song and music, Robert’s letters to Clara are read by Philip Quast and his songs sung by Byron Watson, with accompaniments and instrumental music played by Andrew Greene. Clara’s letters to Robert are read by Lisa McCune and her songs sung by Sally-Anne Russell, while the narrator, Robert Alexander, links together the letters and lyrics to complete the essential outline of the story. Andrew Greene has chosen a selection of music, letters, and diary entries to create a unique experience for his first production under the Lyric Arts Inc. not-for-profit banner, promising to leave you deeply touched and inspired.
