Salsa could learn so much from Ballet... [Instructors] are perfectly comfortable moving your foot into the proper position themselves if you’re not doing it right, and if you don’t like that, you can pack your bags and leave. It’s such a high, dramatic art form, and it’s very spiritual. It’s silent, so you need to use your body to express every emotion. Nowadays, so much of ballet is like a circus, because it’s all about high jumps and pirouettes, when it should be about telling a story and conveying feelings. Lets change our world and stop fueling the circus, my friends.
