Salute feeling proud .... I am a big believer in passing on praise where it is due and wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know that having visited your establishment for the first time last night I was so very impressed. We were served by, amongst others, a lovely lady named Imogen who joined in with our conversation without being overbearing, was knowledgeable and even when we had the pickiest of requests she attended to us with a smile on her face. The food was beautiful, I wasnt expecting much from a Tuesday evening Early Bird menu but it was clear that care and attention had been taken over every dish, I actually ordered from the main menu, my Steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I was very surprised when the final bill arrived, 4 of us having eaten, had wine, coffees and 1 Rhubarb trifle which ended up being shared between all 4 of us - it was just a touch over £100. Amazing value. £25 each for that standard of food and service is just superb My only disappointment is that I have only just discovered Salute, and now feel like Ive been missing out on a secret that everyone else knows about! Please keep up the brilliant work, and keep hold of waitresses like Imogen- she gave a brilliant impression of the ethos of your restaurant. I look forward to coming back soon. Kindest Regards
