Salvation Know this, God loves you beyond your ability to fully comprehend His love. The Bible states in: 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. And there is no good thing that God is going to withhold from you—namely your “Salvation”. Brothers and sister of God, one of the most questioned and lest understood concept in the Word of God is “Salvation”. What is it and am I “Saved”? Satan, who is an accuser of the people of God, will forever have you questioning your “Salvation”. Brothers and sisters of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, if “Satan” can confuse you in this matter, then “He “can and will have you in all matters concerning “God’s Holy Design” for your life. The Bible states in: Romans 10:9 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Brothers and sisters, of the “Most High God”, it is a simple as this confession—and as complex as you make it. Nevertheless, once that you make this confession, that is when the real work begins. It is not work in the sense that you have to work for your “Salvation”—because the Bible states in: Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. However, your work comes, in a major part, fighting off your adversary the “Devil”; and equally as important in this equation, fighting off your flesh and doing that which is right in the site of “God”. Here is the answer that is at the core of our “Salvation”. The real evidence of “Salvation” is the indwelling of the “Holy Spirit”—that is how you deal with Satan and your flesh. If you are one “God’s” elect, then how are you conducting yourself? Are you living the way that He would have you to live? Are you doing things that speak counter to the Bible? Do you love those whom you come in contact with the right way? Are you conducting yourself as a man or women of God? The Bible states in: John 10:4-5 (KJV)4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. The humbleness of the matter is: “Salvation” is a free gift—the complexity of the gift is how you handle your gift? In the matter of our “Salvation” Satan is forever busy.
