Sam A. Everything Adolph Eichmann did was according to the law of the land. Just because the State claims its acts are legal does not make them just. The citizens or the subjects get to decide that for themselves. What I am saying is that the Federal Government has lost what the Chinese called, I think, the Sanction of Heaven or the Heavenly Mandate. It has lost its moral authority, and it deserves to have lost it. My judgement is that the incompetence and corruption of DC are epidemic to the point that there are no longer any socially beneficial aspects associated with it. The government has the legal monopoly on the use of force. As long as citizens trust the government they obey and do not resist. Unfortunately, that trust is gone and the citizens are beginning to resist. The outcome will be either the government kills a lot of citizens and forces them to obey at the point of the gun, which makes a mockery of all ideas about liberty and freedom, or it changes its ways and once more becomes trustworthy.
